Air Algerie Plane Has Crashed in Mali

<p>A plane operated by Air Algerie has crashed in Mali early Thursday, July 24 2014  on its way to Algiers after taking off a few minutes in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Officials said that the Plane have 116 passengers and 6 crew members onboard.<br />

A Diplomat in the Malian Capital, Bamako said that the northern part of the country was struck by a powerful sandstorm where the plane's flight path likely lies.<br />

An Air Algerie representative in Burkina Faso released the list of passengers on the plane included 50 french, 24 Burkinabe, 8 Lebanese,  4 Algerians, 2 from Luxembourg, 1 from Belgium, one Swiss, one from Nigeria, one Cameroonian, one Ukrainian and one Romanian in a press conference later that day. all 6 crew members are Spanish<br />

TransAsia Airways Crashed on Taiwan

<p>A TransAsia Airways passenger plane crashed into a residential building in Penghu Islands, Taiwan.<br />

The Plane is making its second attempt to land in a stormy weather after it crashed and killed over 40 people. <br />

Filipino basketball fans were excited knowing this event of an exhibition game between Gilas Pilipinas and certain NBA Superstars like DeMar Derozan, Kyle Lowry, Tyson Chandler, Brandon Jennings, Damian Lilard and James Harden but all of the great expectations of basketball fans who swarmed to Araneta Coliseum last night, was turned into disappointments and anger as the event was cancelled by organizers in the last minute.</div>

According to the organizers, as well as to the management of the NBA players, they we're not allowed to play because it will break their contract to the famous basketball association and thus, will get themselves suspended if they try continuing to play on the said exhibition game. The event started last night with basketball drills between the NBA superstars and the Gilas Pilipinas players. However, the drills had sparked confusion to the basketball fans who are waiting to the "must-see" exhibition game. In the end, the Gilas coach Chot Reyes explained everything to the fans that a practice drill will be shown, instead of the expected exhibition game.</div>

Knowing this change in the event, the crowd began booing to the people in the court, somewhat disappointed about the information that there will be no exhibition game that will happen that night. Others had requested a refund since it was known that the tickets ranged from prices P750 up to P23000. Then when the event is wrapping up, disappointed fans swarm the exits of Araneta Coliseum, full of disappointments. Despite the epic-fail event, fans still looked up at the merchandise sold outside the venue. It was also extended to their information that the event on the next day, July 23, is cancelled as well.</div>

Bag of Beans - Tagaytay City

Coffee had been part of every Filipino dining ever since the Spanish times. We can always see people drink coffee on almost every part of the day: morning, afternoon, or even at nighttime. Somewhat, this Filipino dining tradition that had been part of our everyday lives had sparked an emergence to the existence of coffee shops here in Philippines like Starbucks, Seattle's Best Coffee, and Cafe de Lipa. But in my travelling history, trying such things on a certain area like food is a must for a traveler and in my trip to Tagaytay this past weekend (July 20) I found a coffee shop where their hot beverages, could even compete in the coffee served in Starbucks, named Bag of Beans.</div>

The Bag of Beans interior is inspired by a semi-garden like setting. Guests who go to this coffee shop, aside from the coffee and the food, also like to feel the essence and ambiance of the coffee shop which shows a good environment setting. There are also gazebos where guests can enjoy their coffee and dining in a more comfortable and pleasing way. The setting of their coffee shop is worth paying together with the coffee and food if you're a tourist in Tagaytay. And another thing, their coffee is a less expensive than Starbucks, but with the same taste. Bag of Beans' coffee is a lot more tastier for me though.</div>

Aside from the coffee and other hot beverages, Bag of Beans also serve breakfast, merienda, lunch, dinner, and buffet on their menu. Guests, most of them as said by the crew of Bag of Beans, loved the coffee shops' strawberry & blueberry cheesecakes which are scrumptious. Bag of Beans do also sell souvenir items for their guests in form of mugs engraved with their name. These mugs come from small up to large sizes and also, an up-for-grabs for tourists.</div>
