A TransAsia Airways passenger plane crashed into a residential building in Penghu Islands, Taiwan.

The Plane is making its second attempt to land in a stormy weather after it crashed and killed over 40 people.

Report from a British newspaper, The Telegraph, said that the 72-seater passenger plane was carrying 50 adults and 4 children.

According to CNN, Typhoon Matmo which battered Taiwan last Tuesday had just left the area around the islands and there was a poor visibility as the plane was trying to land.

The Plane was travelling from Taipei to Magong, main city of  Penghu Islands where the Plane crashed. The island can be found between halfway of Taiwan and mainland China
